A culinary world shaped by Lapland’s eight seasons, northern craftsmanship and the vision of chef Arto Rastas.

A Taste of Lapland’s Eight Seasons

At Arcora, dining is not separate from the stay — it is part of the landscape, the rhythm of the day and the feeling of being in the North.

Opening in December 2026, Arcora’s restaurant world brings together pure northern ingredients, quiet luxury, artisan craftsmanship and international influences. From freshly baked bread in the morning to champagne above the treetops and an eight-course dinner inspired by Lapland’s seasons, every moment is designed to become part of the Arcora story.

In Lapland, the year is not defined by four seasons, but by eight — each with its own rhythm, light, colour and flavour. At Arcora, this natural cycle shapes the entire culinary experience.

The menus follow what nature offers and what inspires our chefs in that moment. The surrounding landscape, changing light and northern silence are not just a backdrop. They are part of the dining experience itself.

Arcora’s culinary vision is led by Finnish chef Arto Rastas, whose approach combines craftsmanship, locality and international inspiration in a way that feels refined, honest and deeply rooted in the North.

Culinary Vision by Arto Rastas

Arcora’s culinary world is created together with Arto Rastas, one of Finland’s most versatile chefs and restaurateurs.

Rastas has built his career around curiosity, craftsmanship and the courage to explore more than one culinary path. His work spans restaurants, culinary education, consulting, media projects, food events and recipe development — always with a strong respect for ingredients, technique and the emotion of the dining moment. He has also represented Finland as a member of the Finnish National Team of chefs.

At Arcora, this experience takes shape in a new northern setting. Together with our team, Rastas is creating a restaurant world where Lapland’s eight seasons, pure Arctic ingredients and the surrounding wilderness guide the rhythm of the entire culinary experience.

The result is elegant but not distant, ambitious but not excessive — a culinary world built on atmosphere, quality, service and thoughtful details that feel deeply connected to the North.

At Arcora, luxury is not about excess. It is about atmosphere, service, quality and the way the whole experience feels.

Restaurant 8

A Taste of Eight Seasons

At the heart of Arcora’s culinary world is Restaurant 8 — an evening restaurant inspired by Lapland’s eight seasons.

Here, time flows differently. The name is a tribute to transformation, balance and renewal: to the quiet power of nature and the rhythm that shapes life in the Arctic. Each dish is a dialogue between fire and frost, wilderness and refinement.

The menu changes with the seasons, reflecting what nature offers and what inspires our chefs at that very moment. The signature Eight-Course Chef’s Menu takes guests on a sensory journey through the cycles of Lapland — from the pale light of kaamos to the warmth of the midnight sun.

Guests may also choose a shorter three- or four-course menu, paired with carefully curated wines or local craft drinks. Whatever the path, the essence remains the same: authenticity, courage and artistry served with gentle northern grace.

Restaurant 8 is more than a restaurant. It is a stage where taste and time tell the story of Arcora.

Arcora Lobby Bar & Bakery

Baked with time. Served with soul.

Arcora Lobby Bar & Bakery is the gentle heart of Arcora Boutique Hotel — a place where mornings begin with the scent of warm bread and afternoons unfold into calm, unhurried moments.

Every loaf, pastry and layered dessert carries the pride of handcraft. Shaped with patience, skill and the quiet persistence of the northern landscape, the bakery brings warmth and soul into the daily rhythm of Arcora.

This is not just a café. Not simply a bar. It is a still point — a place to rest, breathe deeply and rediscover pleasure in the smallest details.

Here, indulgence does not shout. It speaks softly. It lingers. It becomes memory.

For whom

For guests who appreciate handmade bakery products, relaxed elegance and a warm place to pause between Arctic experiences.

Pyry Champagne Bar

Above the ordinary. Beyond the expected.

There are places where bubbles simply belong — where celebration feels natural and the sky itself seems to raise a glass.

Pyry Champagne Bar is one of those places.

Suspended above the treetops, surrounded by untouched wilderness and endless sky, Pyry is not merely a bar. It is a viewpoint, an atmosphere, a feeling. Here, the horizon stretches wide, the fells stand silent and the stars feel close enough to touch.

The name Pyry comes from a fine, dancing snowfall — a sparkling swirl of snow across the Arctic sky. It is movement, energy and life. A beautiful reminder that nature, too, knows how to celebrate.

Inside, the fire glows, light shimmers against crystal rims and every detail invites you to linger a little longer. Each bottle has been chosen with intention, creating a champagne experience that feels both refined and deeply connected to its surroundings.

For whom

For guests looking for an elegant moment before dinner, a celebration during their stay or a quiet evening drink surrounded by Arctic scenery.

Breakfast, Lunch & Afternoon Tea

From Breakfast to Afternoon Tea. Dining experiences for every moment of the day.

Arcora’s restaurant world is designed to follow the rhythm of the entire day.

Mornings begin with an elevated hotel breakfast: freshly baked breads and pastries from the in-house bakery, a generous high-quality buffet and carefully served main dishes that bring a refined touch to the first meal of the day.

Lunch follows the seasons, while afternoon tea brings a beloved British tradition to Lapland — reimagined through local flavours, craftsmanship and northern calm.

From the first coffee of the morning to the last glass of the evening, every moment is created to feel like part of the Arcora experience.

The Landscape Is Part of the Experience

Large windows open towards the national landscape of Muonio, where light, weather and seasons are constantly changing.

At Arcora, nature is not simply something to look at. It shapes the atmosphere, the menus, the rhythm of service and the way each moment feels. The surrounding wilderness becomes a stage for the culinary experience — silent, powerful and always present.

Architecture, interiors, food and service are designed to work together. The result is a restaurant world that feels calm, immersive and unmistakably northern.

For whom

For guests who want every meal, pause and drink to feel considered, memorable and connected to the place around them.
