Three ways into the same landscape

Follow the northern sky, meet the traditions of Lapland, or move deeper into the Arctic wilderness. Seventeen experiences in three categories. Every one of them can also be arranged privately.

Under the Northern Lights

Moments beneath the northern sky

Lapland’s winter darkness is not empty. It is filled with changing light, deep silence and the anticipation of what may appear above.

These experiences lead away from artificial light, into snow-covered forest, onto frozen lakes and out to the open fells. The night can be met on foot, by husky sled, reindeer sleigh, snowmobile or private minivan, and routes are chosen for each evening.

Northern Traditions

Rituals, flavours and stories of Lapland

The culture of Lapland is experienced through warmth and cold, food and fire, stories and seasonal rituals.

Finnish sauna culture, Christmas in its quieter form, and dining built on northern ingredients and open fire. Each one takes place in a chosen setting — beside a frozen lake, inside a forest cabin, or in a traditional kota. Some are shared in small groups, others are entirely private.
